Emotion-Focused Therapy

Learn the basics of emotion focused therapy, techniques to change core emotional processing, and how to apply these techniques in the treatment of depression, anxiety or complex trauma.

Each session runs from 9am-5pm with lunch break from 12-1pm

This intensive 4-day training provides participants with solid grounding in the skills required to work more directly with emotions in psychotherapy and is led by:

Dr. Antonio Pascual-Leone

Dr. Antonio Pascual-Leone is a psychologist and full professor in clinical psychology at the University of Windsor, where he trains psychotherapists and is director of the Emotion Change Lab.

He is also an honorary research professor at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) and has been an invited professor at other universities in Canada and abroad

The focus of the program will be experiential, learning how to provide change in core emotional structures.

Participants will receive in depth skill training through a combination of brief lectures, video demonstrations, live modelling, case discussions, and extensive supervised role-playing practice done in small groups.

Individuals attending this workshop will learn the basics of using emotion focused therapy, including conducting chairwork, using the empathic responding to foster emotional processing, and how to apply these techniques in the treatment of depression, anxiety, or complex trauma.

Tickets cost $1100 per person and include:
