Voluntary Trusteeship Program

Support for individuals who need help managing their finances, setting up a budget and paying bills.

The Trustee Program was created to assist people with managing their finances. It is completely voluntary, meaning that it is the person's choice to decide to participate and there is no charge for utilizing the service. Family Services will take responsibility for your finances and ensure all of your bills are paid on time. An agency staff member will work with you to establish a budget and to set life goals. Seminars and workshops provide education and information to encourage financial independence. These workshops are cost-free to participants with the intended goal of assisting them in developing long term independent financial stability. This program is funded in part by the United Way and the City of Windsor.
