Our Voluntary Trusteeship and Financial Literacy Program helps individuals manage their money and develop essential money management skills.
How does it work?
Our professional staff will:
- Support you in redirecting all sources of income and bills to FSWE
- Create an individualized budget that works for you
- Ensure all bills are paid on time
- Support you in achieving a savings goal
- Teach basic money management to improve your overall financial health
Our advocacy and support services help:
- Support you with additional issues that may come up outside of your finances
- Connect you to supports to improve your overall health and wellbeing
- Connect you to education and employment services
Eligibility Criteria
This program is open to individuals aged 16 and over who reside in Windsor-Essex and qualify based on income. Participants must be capable of giving direction.
Referrals: Referrals are not required, but are welcomed from family, friends, advocates and agencies.
Voluntary: This is a voluntary program. Clients can withdraw from the program with approximately 30 days notice
